Local Legend Inducted into Whitewater Hall of Fame

Local Legend Rob Lesser leads the pack into the International Whitewater Hall of Fame. He will officialy be inducted in Maryland on October 15th along with Davey Hearn, Payson Kennedy, Charlie Walbridge, Bob McNair and John Lugbill. Rob Lesser influenced the sport of kayaking and the kayaking industry.

Rob pioneered many first descents and he has kayaked all over the world. He started the Idaho Whitewater Association, to help save the North Fork of the Payette River from having a dam built on it in the late 70's. He worked in the kayak industry for 16 years shaping the direction of the sport. Recently celebrating his 60th birthday, by running the North Fork of the Payette, he is truly living the life of a passionate and dedicated whitewater kayaker.
