Boise River Boogie 2019

Boise River Boogie, BREN -

Boise River Boogie 2019

Come out and show your support for the Boise River with us on September 15, 2019 at the Boise River Boogie! This is a family-friendly paddle/run duathlon benefiting the Boise River Enhancement Network. Challenge yourself to both legs or race together as a team of two.

The adult course starts off with a 1/2 mile SUP, canoe or kayak paddle around Quinn's Pond and ends with a beautiful 2 mile run through Esther Simplot Park on the Greenbelt. The kid's course includes a 1 mile run. Join us afterwards for a great time with local food, music and refreshments. All proceeds will go to BREN for helping to keep the Boise River beautiful. This year's project is the proposed Middleton Boise River Park.

Volunteer for the Boise River Boogie!

Meet the planning committee and attend a volunteer meeting in August. We are in need of safety paddlers and support people. BREN's coordinator will go over the course and discuss specific volunteer duties. Lunch will be provided.

(We usually need 8 - 10 safety paddlers to cover the water course on Quinn's Pond!) Check out the Boise River Boogie Facebook page for more information and like it to stay up to date!

We're asking safety boaters and paddlers to please Instant message us or call the store at 208-336-4844 to RSVP so we can provide BREN with an accurate count for lunch. To register online to be a volunteer click here.
