Citizens concerned with the future of the lower Boise River came together in 2011 to protect the river from the pressures of a rapidly growing population. They created the Boise River Enhancement Network to: Connect landowners, irrigators, recreational users and agencies Teach people about river health Catalyze on-the-ground action Provide technical expertise Create opportunities for concerned citizens to work together for the future of the lower Boise River. Boise River Boogie by BREN
Come out and show your support for the Boise River with us in September at the Boise River Boogie Duathlon paddle and run benefiting the Boise River Enhancement Network. Challenge yourself to both legs or race together as a team of two. The course starts off with a 1/2 mile SUP, canoe or kayak paddle around Quinn's Pond and ends with a beautiful 2 mile run through Esther Simplot Park on the Greenbelt.
